I took Little Miss M (my "mentee") to a biology lab today. We extracted our DNA and then spent at least an hour just finding cool things to look at under a microscope. I forgot how fun it can be too look at things under a microscope!
Tonight, her mom taught me how to make pupusas. Then, our families sat down for dinner together. She's a great teacher and the food was amazing. It was a fun day!

Seriously: they're one of my favorite foods! M's mom makes the cabbage topping and the salsa that goes on top, too! I'm glad you've tried them. And that you still read my blog sometimes. :) It's always flattering when people read my stuff! haha
